Franco
Guitarist and
singer born on 1968 in Salvador Bahia, Brasil, he started to play
Guitar at the age of 10. His singing career started 5 years later.
Following the footsteps of his father,
Franquito a former prodigious
child artist in the latest ‘50s, music was definitly their family.
In
1996 while
performing
solo concerts in various cities of Brasil such as São-Paulo
and Salvador, Carlinhos was invited to tour through Europe.
During one of his concerts in Switzerland , he played with the brazilian jazz ensemble “Amazonia”
and “Ademir Candido Group” straight to the Montreux Jazz Festival
and various brasilien benefit-galas performances, such as
“Kinder in Brazilien” and TV appearances.
1999, the day after playing at an evening party at Phil Collin's
place, Carlinhos Franco is invited by the Egyptian minister
of culture to perform at the “International Song Festival in
Cairo”, Egypt, interpreting songs from well-known US-composers Dan
Serafini and George Nishigomi. Another boost in Carlinho's Musical
career.
On his roaster, he has performed well-known Brazilian musicians and
groups such as; Rafael Rabelo, Ademir Candido, Tonico da
Silva, Ecio Parreira, Camila Arantes, Group Eldissa, ..... |
